Our Seasonal Shelter provides a warm, welcoming place to stay during Montgomery County Code Blue declarations and other emergency weather events. Guests receive a safe place to sleep, an evening meal, breakfast, and transportation each morning.
Beds are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be reserved. Morning transportation is provided to the Pottstown Recovery Learning Center or the Pottstown Transportation Center. Transportation to shower facilities is available on designated days.
The Seasonal Shelter serves adults experiencing homelessness during emergency weather events. Staff and volunteers work to provide a safe, respectful environment for every guest while connecting individuals with additional community resources whenever possible.
For some guests, the Seasonal Shelter is the first step toward longer-term stability. When appropriate, our team can connect individuals with Bridge Housing and other community resources that support housing, healthcare, employment, recovery, and other needs.
