Guests receive a safe place to sleep, an evening meal, breakfast, and transportation each morning.

Providing a safe, warm place to stay every night from November 4 through April 30 for unhoused residents of the Pottstown community, regardless of whether a Code Blue has been declared. Guests receive a safe place to sleep, an evening meal, breakfast, and transportation each morning which is provided to the Pottstown Recovery Learning Center or the Pottstown Transportation Center. Transportation to shower facilities is available on designated days.
Beds are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be reserved.
The Seasonal Shelter serves adults experiencing homelessness who meet the following eligibility requirements:
Adults only: Must be 18 years of age or older.
Pottstown residency: Must provide proof of residency in Pottstown (19464) for at least 12 months prior to the date of intake.
No animals: Due to our lease agreements with our host church, we are unable to accommodate animals, including service animals.
Registry restrictions: To help maintain a safe environment for our volunteers, including minors, we are unable to provide shelter services to individuals currently listed on the Pennsylvania State Police Megan’s Law Registry.
For some guests, the Seasonal Shelter is the first step toward longer-term stability. When appropriate, our team can connect individuals with Bridge Housing and other community resources that support housing, healthcare, employment, recovery, and other needs.

No. The shelter operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Beds cannot be reserved or held.
Guests check in during the designated hours, receive a safe place to sleep, an evening meal, breakfast, and transportation the following morning. Staff and volunteers are available throughout the evening to provide support and answer questions.
Yes. While the Seasonal Shelter is designed to meet immediate emergency needs, staff can help connect guests with Bridge Housing and other community resources when appropriate.
