Ways to Get Involved

Every role matters. Some people prepare meals. Some mentor guests. Some make introductions, write checks, clean streets, or volunteer at events. Together, those acts become a community's response.

Volunteer

Whether you can give a few hours each month or serve regularly, there is a place for you at Pottstown Beacon of Hope. Volunteers strengthen our programs, support our guests, and join a community-wide effort to build a stronger Pottstown.

Welcome & Hospitality

Help create a welcoming environment by greeting guests, assisting with check-in, preparing spaces, and supporting seasonal shelter operations. Hospitality is often the first step in helping someone feel seen, respected, and safe.

Meals & Practical Support

Prepare and serve meals, organize donated items, assemble welcome kits, assist with laundry, or help with seasonal projects that keep our programs running smoothly.

Share Your Skills

Professional skills are always needed. Whether your expertise is in photography, gardening, construction, finance, technology, communications, teaching, mentoring, or another area, your talents can strengthen our mission and expand our impact.

Faith Communities

Faith communities have been integral to Pottstown Beacon of Hope from the beginning. Every day, congregations and people of faith sustain our work through volunteers, meals, financial support, prayer, advocacy, and relationships. Interested in getting your faith community involved? Let us know.
